Who manages my staircasing application?

Auxesia does. You put the application together and submit it through Stairpay, and the moment you do it goes to the Auxesia team who handle staircasing — they are the ones who approve the extra share and take it through to completion. Your account also shows you their process and who they recommend at each stage, so you are working to their steps rather than guessing at them.

Will my Auxesia home be on Stairpay yet?

It should be — Auxesia has connected their shared ownership records to Stairpay. If your address is not recognised, there is usually a simple reason. First, check you have selected the right landlord. Then check whether you already have an account and are trying to create a second one — logging in will tell you. If neither is it, email helpdesk@stairpay.com and we will look into it for you. If you have bought recently, there can be a short delay before your home's data reaches us, and we can check that for you.

Is Stairpay an official Auxesia service?

Yes. Auxesia partners with Stairpay to give their shared owners access to it, and the property data in your account comes directly from them — your home's value, the share you own, your rent and your service charge, as Auxesia holds them.

Do I still contact Auxesia directly for repairs?

Yes. Repairs, maintenance and anything to do with the building stay with Auxesia, and the way you report them has not changed. Stairpay is for understanding your home — your figures, your lease and your options — rather than for day-to-day tenancy matters.

Is Stairpay free for me?

Yes. Stairpay is always free for shared owners — Auxesia pays for the service, so that you have the tools and resources you need to make decisions about your home and your future with confidence. Buying a bigger share does have its own costs, such as the valuation and your solicitor, but those are paid to the people doing that work and never to us.

Can I use Stairpay if I'm not planning to buy more yet?
